CHA trip photos

Hey ya'll!  I've been going through my pics from CHA, and I thought I'd share some of my favorites with you.  Tomorrow I'll share some manufacturer samples and products photos, but today it's just pics of the silly time Robert and I had.

CHA (1 of 1) This was after we landed, and made our way to the hotel.  Not bad for someone who's been awake since 2am.  Thank God for makeup :))

CHA (1 of 1)-3 Just after the opening ceremony…everyone rushed the floor.  Our plan was smart, we skipped the crowd by heading to the back of the show floor and making our way to the front.

CHA (1 of 1)-2Robert had at least 2 dozen women stop him and ask where he got his gorgeous bag.  Soooo funny!  You have no idea how shy he is, and  to have women stopping him to ask about his pretty bag…oh my!  LOL!  I told him if I die before he does, all he needs is a pretty bag to catch another chic!

CHA summer 2011 (1 of 1)-16 Diane Schultz, owner and designer of Graphic 45.  I was dumbstruck by her when I saw her.  Absolutely beautiful.  The prettiest Dorthy I've ever seen.  Love the Magic of Oz collection.

CHA summer 2011 (1 of 1) Eileen Hull, love her Sizzix dies.  Took a sampling to my Retreat and sold out.  It was great to meet the mastermind behind  the designs.

CHA summer 2011 (1 of 1)-2 Becky Nunn of Nunn Design.  I met her at Inspired where she was teaching a class.  Love her jewerly designs.

CHA (1 of 1)-22 FREEBIES!!!  WOOT!!!!!!  Can you tell I'm not used to winning  things??  All that excitment, just to realize I couldn't take them on the plane, boo!!!!

CHA (1 of 1)-17 I know this one's a little fuzzy, but I just love it!! <3  Robert and I hit the town since our 20th anniversary was only a week or so away.

Retreat Album & BoBunny at CHA

Hey Everyone!!!!  I'm sooo glad to be back home!  My flight out of Chicago was canceled due to a terrible thunderstorm, so I ended up spending an extra night.  I can't complain because the InterContinental was a fabulous hotel, and The Capital Grille had some of the best food I have ever eaten.  However, I was so excited to be back because I missed my babies like crazy!!!!!!!!!!

I had to leave for Chicago so fast, I didn't get a chance to share my pics from my Retreat.  And, let me just say, it was an AWESOME Retreat, if I do say so myself.  I kept it small and intimate, giving everyone lots of space to spread out, and an opportunity to socialize with  their neighbors. I had my store set up, and I added new products daily because some of my girls LOVE to shop.  Everyone that came was so sweet, and so much fun to spend the weekend with!!  I had such a wonderful time!  I'm hoping to do it again next year!  I've created an album, so you can click here to view  all of my photos.   There are two pages of thumbnails.  You can click on the thumbnail to view the larger photo.  I was so busy, I didn't get a pic of everyone, so if anyone that attended wants to share your photos, please email them to me at melissa@melissasamuels.net so I can add them to the album, or post them on my Facebook page (click here).  I'd LOVE to see them!!!!!!

KaiserCraft CHA Summer 2011

Hey guys!  I'm sitting in the airport at O'Hare, and there's a crazy thunderstorm.  My flight has been delayed, AGAIN, so I thought I'd do a little blogging.  I checked out Kaisercraft's booth while I was at CHA, and their new collections were amazing!!  They came out with a fabulous masculine/outdoors collection, and a gorgeous vintage Christmas collection.  My favorite (though it was almost impossible to pick) was Bonjour, a very soft pink feminine collection with lots of butterflies.  I bought them all of course, but I wanted to at least show you Bonjour.  Here's the video.  I am on my way home, but I have lots more videos to share (including Tim Holtz), so come back soon!  Oh, and keep in mind I'm shooting live from the show floor, so there maybe some background noise.
